Ralf Heib, born in 1965, is the founder and CEO of match.IT GmbH.

After studying business administration and graduating with a Master degree in business, Ralf Heib then worked as a research assistant and commercial manager at Saarland University’s Institute for Information Systems. He subsequently gained more than 20 years of experience in management and sales with IT and consulting companies.

He established multiple business divisions in the TecDAX companies IDS Scheer AG and Software AG, and was responsible for the DACH and EMEA regions as a member of the managing board. He then became Managing Director of Energy Consulting Europe GmbH in Düsseldorf, where he steered the international M&A activities of the Energy Consulting Group.

Over his many years of experience in management and sales, Mr. Heib has been actively involved in implementing and integrating numerous corporate transactions. As well as business development and designing innovative, digital business models, his particular interests lie in the value-oriented management of M&A transactions in the IT industry.
